GI Biz 100, Rezzed, Animex, Uni Profile and other stuff!

It’s been a while since I’ve found a little time to sit down and blog stuff!

Between now and the last time a lot has happened.

The first was having the honour of being included in the GI.Biz 100 Future Talent of the Gaming Industry List. I remember the morning when I’d been informed at work that I had been included on it and I was jumping around the office, words cannot describe how amazing honoured I feel to have been included in amongst a list of amazing and talented individuals.

I was informed that it went live whilst I was (waiting in a queue for coffee) at Rezzed and I had been asked to do a talk at the UKIE Careers fair. I’d known at this point that there was a thing on, so I rather unfortunately picked a slot to do the talk literally at the same time at Tim Schafer (good job Mike). As always I love doing the talks, it’s a privilege and people still came so I was happy!

I’ve been back to Boro for Animex since then and as always, it’s an incredibly inspiring and amazing experience. Having my own personal inspiration reinvigorated and learning so much games stuff! Argh I wish I could do it every week!

Also whilst I was there my Teesside University Alumni profile went live! Again, I’m so proud of my roots and I was super excited when they asked me to do it!

Oh and in the middle of all of this I was helping my SO put the finishing touches on our wedding! Which went incredibly 🙂
