I was browsing the Dare to be Digital site to see how the competition is run and what the students do on it and stumbled across a new ‘Dare Academy’ scheme they are planning to run. One of the courses is a 2 day course on Game QA and Testing. I’ve always wanted to develop my skills in QA and this is an ideal attempt to both see the Game Testing side of QA and perhaps pick up a few skills and techniques to be used in Software Development as well!
